Well that’s a wrap, the 2023 Sea Otter Classic has been an absolute blast and we were so excited to be there and able to capture some really great interviews to showcase some of the cool stuff coming out this year.
The Sea Otter Classic is a staple in North America, taking place in Monterey at Laguna Seca. It’s a chance to see familiar faces and catch up after a wet winter. Also to make new friends, tour the countless exhibitors, and see the thousands of cyclists riding around racing or taking demo rides.
The stands outs for us this year was the general atmosphere. The energy and attitudes from spectators and industry folks alike made for a great environment to see what the many brands are bringing to to the table this year. Although the bike industry as a whole is making changes and dealing with a shift from the bike boom of the last few years, brands are hopeful and still pushing forward.
Over our four days of walking around, there were a lot of cool things that caught our eye. We tried our best to create recaps of every day we were there and to include interviews with as many of those that we could. We still were barely able to touch the surface, so know that there is a lot to look forward to from the bike industry for new eBikes, new gear, and new accessories.
